How to use iDPRT Bartender label editing software?
1、Bartender versions：
（1）BarTender Basic / BarTender UltraLite

2、What is the difference of different Bartender versions：
（1）BarTender Basic
BarTender Basic, including the function of bartender Ultralite, it is a more advanced independent version than bartender Ultralite. It has unlimited service life (permanent use), and can produce high-quality labels, barcodes and cards in a few minutes.
Included functions – common label design functions. Includes all text, graphics, barcodes, and most serialization functions. It is only useful for label data provided through the keyboard and scanner. It includes most card printing functions (but it can only encode the magnetic stripe). The companion application only includes print station.
Deleted function – unable to access external data. The label format has no password protection, does not support VB script customization, and only provides limited text filtering function. It does not include all functions deleted by the professional version, and it does not include Batch Maker.
（2）BarTender Professional
Included features - all the powerful label design features of bartender. Data access to network databases (using OLE DB and ODBC), spreadsheets and text files. Support for RFID marks and tags. All card printing functions (but only the magnetic stripe can be encoded). It includes two supporting applications: Batch Maker and Print Station.
Deleted function - cannot be controlled from other software. (there is no ActiveX, Commander, or command line.) Sap or XML is not supported. No record or email error warnings are provided. Printer code templates cannot also be exported. It also does not include all functions of automatic version deletion. Smart card code is not included. Printer maestro is also not included.
（3）BarTender Automation
Included features - all the powerful design features of Bartender. Various software integration tools, such as ActiveX Automation, enterprise messaging tools, and seagull's commander utility for cross platform integration. All access to external data sources and support for SAP IDocs in the professional edition. Support for RFID marks and tags. All card printing functions (but only the magnetic stripe can be encoded). It includes all supporting applications except Libraian, but not all functions. Only the recording function of the local database is included.
Deleted functions - the improved server functions, advanced integration (such as XML and SAP AII) and network printing functions of the enterprise automation Version (see above) are not provided. Smart card code is not included. Libran is not included. The functions of some supporting applications are eliminated. It does not include the recording function of centralized database. There is no inventory control function of printer consumables.
（4）BarTender Enterprise
It is a powerful version of Bartender, which has all the functions of design, printing, software integration and access to external data sources of the automation version. In addition, it also includes advanced server functions such as central printing, security and management. It supports RFID and all card printing and smart card coding functions. The bartender web print server included in this release supports printing labels from any browser. This release also includes advanced integration features such as TCP/IP triggers, SAP AII, Oracle XML, XML transformations, and XML scripts. The comprehensive functions provided by supporting applications such as Libraian will make it easier to use. You can also track the inventory of printer parts and the use of consumables in the printer.
