iDPRT Wraps Up Three RFID & IoT Roundtables, Heads to Nanjing

10 / 30 / 2026

Hanin RFID & IoT Roundtable 02

Hanin iDPRT has completed the first three stops of its 2026 RFID & IoT Industry Roundtable series, held in Xi'an on June 11, Beijing on September 18, and Chengdu on October 20. The invitation-only events brought together companies across the RFID value chain to exchange practical insights on RFID technologies, industry applications, and implementation challenges. The next event is scheduled for Nanjing in November 2026.

Initiated by iDPRT and co-hosted with Avery Dennison, Nanjing Memor Information Technology Co., Ltd., iData, Xiamen Innov Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Sichuan Xunlian Technology Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Fuwit Technology Co., Ltd., the series provides a focused platform for collaboration across the RFID value chain.

China's RFID Industry Moves Toward Broader Commercial Adoption

Driven by growing interest in domestically developed technologies and China's Digital China initiatives, RFID adoption is expanding across a wider range of commercial and industrial applications.

From retail chain operations and secure asset management to data collection and location tracking, businesses are exploring RFID applications tailored to local industry needs. These developments are creating opportunities across the RFID value chain, including chips, tags, readers, intelligent terminals, and industry-specific RFID solutions.

Against this backdrop, iDPRT launched the roundtable series to encourage closer dialogue among companies working across different stages of the RFID ecosystem. Rather than adopting a large-scale exhibition format, the events prioritize focused discussions around real-world applications, equipment, and implementation challenges.

Seven Industry Perspectives Across the RFID Value Chain

Hanin RFID & IoT Roundtable 01

The first three roundtables featured seven presentations covering key technologies, industry trends, and practical applications across the RFID ecosystem.

• Tian Lan, iDPRT: Explored China's technology localization trends and opportunities for domestically developed printing and intelligent identification terminals.

• Jiwei Chen, Avery Dennison: Discussed RFID industry applications, emerging trends, and opportunities for technology integration.

• Yi Liu, Nanjing Memor: Examined how connected technologies and centralized management can support more efficient operations across retail chains.

• Min Zeng, iData: Shared insights into the applications and development trends of RFID data collection devices.

• Yuelong Wu, Xiamen Innov: Explored dynamic NFC technology and its applications across different industry scenarios.

• Fengjiang Huang, Sichuan Xunlian: Presented independently developed and controlled hardware systems for secure cabinets used to store confidential business documents and sensitive information.

• Shiyue Liu, Shenzhen Fuwit: Discussed positioning technologies and practical applications across multiple industry scenarios.

Together, the presentations highlighted key elements of RFID deployment, from RFID printers and data capture devices to intelligent terminals and industry-specific applications.

Building Stronger Connections Across the RFID Ecosystem

iDPRT believes that no single company can deliver a complete RFID solution alone. Successful implementation requires close collaboration across the entire value chain, from upstream material suppliers and midstream terminal manufacturers to downstream industry solution providers. Each part must work together to turn RFID technologies into practical applications.

This belief reflects iDPRT's vision of using printing technology as a bridge to connect partners across the identification ecosystem.

Next Stop: Nanjing in November 2026

Following successful events in Xi'an, Beijing and Chengdu, the RFID & IoT Industry Roundtable series will continue in Nanjing this November.

iDPRT will bring more RFID technology providers, equipment manufacturers and solution partners together to exchange practical insights, explore new applications and advance collaboration across the RFID ecosystem.

iDPRT is a leading manufacturer and has sold more than 6.5 million printers worldwide.
